The It Department is headed by an executive manager. 3 divisions are linked to it:

A- Computer.
B- Systems.
C- Development.

Its tasks are:
• Setting banking business systems on computers, spreading them to branches and following up execution.
• Making plans and programs of banking business development which are convenient with bank position among operating banks.
• Making researches and studies of gaining modern systems and latest software and devices so as to serve the bank and setting it in the rank of world banks.
• Following up, executing and updating IT technology at the bank in coordination with concerned parties locally and abroad.
• Providing bank branches and headquarters’ departments related to IT Department business with technical advice and advisory services.
• Giving lectures and making training courses to develop banking personnel depending on the gained modern technology of software and devices.
• Analyzing, designing, executing and developing advanced systems using modern methods.
• Executing technical activities of installing computer systems and accessories in branches and headquarters’ departments to be linked in future to a communication system to coup with modern developments of bank business.
• Following up execution of contracts of providing and maintenance with the providing and advisory companies.
